Round up: reputation management
The Guardian by Kathryn Dobinson
In July The Guardian held a debate on how best to manage reputation in the public sector, with Martin Rayson, president of the Public Sector People Managers’ Association and Karen Lynas, interim deputy MD and Head of Programmes for the NHS leadership academy, were among those who took part alongside Hanover director Gavin Megaw.
Mr Megaw, a specialist in senior strategic communications advice who believes there is a correlation between medium to long-term shareholder value and operational reputation, cited Alva as a company that is now “credibly” benchmarking company reputations. Alva’s analysis showed that Barclays’ recent crisis sent the bank’s reputation score down by 27.24%.
