Penta’s analysis looks at the positioning of insurers in relation to their equality, diversity and inclusion strategies.
This report reviews the reputation of 10 health and protection insurers from January to September 2022 in relation to their EDI policies, and what measures they have taken.
Key findings of the report are:
- Aviva leads the group thanks to policies such as giving some employees a £1,000 handout to help with the cost-of-living crisis and removing the £3 daily charge on its car parks.
- AXA gains an EDI score of 49 after the approval of its policies by Menopause Friendly, as well as gaining an Economic Dividends for Gender Equality Move certification from EDGE.
- Bupa scored highly due to its involvement in policy discussion, such as the high demand for workplace benefits.
